Dignosis
Cancer is sometimes hard to detect; that is why as one gets older, it is important for them to go to the doctor regularly. By having a regular checkup, if one does have an signs or symptoms of cancer, they can be addressed at once. If one is not diagnosed as soon as possible, the cancer can develop so much that there is no hope.

Treatment
There are multiple ways to treat or prevent cancer from spreading in one's body such as radiation, chemotherapy, surgery, transplant, medication, etc. Some cancers have cures for them while some cancers don't. If cancer is detected early on, there is a greater possibility in curing or treating the cancer. Many patients with cancer have been treated, but a handful of people have died from cancer because it was not detected in the early stages. Lots of the treatment forms for cancer have major side affects such as a weak immune system, loss of hair, sudden pains, weakness, etc. These treatments can take a toll on a person, but it can save one's life or give them more time.
Chemotherpy

Chemotherapy is one of treatments used to prevent cancer from spreading. Because the chemical substances can't differentiate which cells are cancer cells, the chemicals also destroy the good cells which can lead to harsh or strong side affects.
"The standard cancer chemotherapy drugs are generally poisons that can kill dividing cells, cells that are making copies of themselves." Dr. George Demetri |
